Sara Smirin (she/her) has a passion for building cause-driven, groundbreaking grassroots organizations and a background in fundraising, marketing, and non-profit management. At Pallotta TeamWorks she was part of the team that grew the AIDS Rides and Avon Breast Cancer Walks into record breaking fundraisers. As a founding member and director of Moms Demand Action, she helped craft the organization’s structure and membership and build the country’s first and largest grassroots gun violence prevention organization. She’s launched non-profit organizations and sat on several boards. A Los Angeles native, she currently lives in the Bay Area with her husband and two sons (both in college). She’d move back to Los Angeles in a skinny minute, prefers the beach over the mountains unless skiing, and loves music, dogs, and baseball.
